TINY DANCER
This ballet/tap combo class is a wonderful introduction to dance for our youngest students who want to express their independence without the assistance of mom or dad. Dancers will have fun learning pre-ballet movement and basic tap exercises in a creative and nurturing environment. Students will begin to understand musical timing as well as improve their coordination as they dance to popular children's music. Props are used to enhance the learning experience. Class sizes are kept very small to assure plenty of individual attention for our youngest dancers.
TAP JAZZ
This popular Jazz/Tap Combination Class teaches basic jazz dance technique, terminology and style with an emphasis on proper technique, alignment and movement quality. Tap works the ears as well as the feet. Tap teaches musicality and rhythm. Emphasis is placed on precision speed and sound. Jazz is energetic and fun consisting of unique moves, isolation of body parts, big leaps, kicks and quick turns. Jazz technique develops strength, coordination and the controlled movement of each body part.
LYRICALLyrical focuses on conveying musicality and emotion through movement. It's sure to inspire your creativity. Students will learn to tell a story or create the picture of the song. Lyrical Dance is an expressive blend that combines many elements of classical ballet along with the freedom and expressiveness of Jazz & Contemporary.

BARRE BALLET & TECHNIQUE
Ballet Barre is an fantastic way to improve your technique. Ballet training strengthens, tones and warms up muscles encouraging correct alignment and movement executuion. This class focuses on dance technique. Students will learn to enhance their endurance, form and technique while exploring a variety of dance genres. Each week the class will concentrate on different aspects of dance, striving to improve their overall technical ability.

Jazz Funk combines jazz movement with the freestyle movement of hip-hop & wraps into a funky style that is both fun & expressive!

Cardio Hula is inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, Hula Fitness provides a total body workout for all ages and fitness levels. It incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats, fused with reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads, and arms.
Combo Class consisting of a Ballet Warmup, Jazz and Tap
60/75 min Tap-Jazz Class. This class is fun and energetic. Students warm up in Ballet.Jazz portion include's such elements as kicks, leaps, turns, splits, and isolations. Classes include stretch and strengthening exercises, floor work, and across the floor progressions in addition to a center floor combination.
Tap portion includes, Tap rhythms, timing and leg/foot coordination done to various types of music. Students will receive well-rounded knowledge of all types of tap & jazz

ACRO Tumbling Classes
Tumbling, Also known as Gymnastics/Acrobatic Floor Skills. It combines strength, power, agility, stamina and coordination that, when performed properly, results in dynamic tumbling. Common moves performed in tumbling include rolls, flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings followed by linking skills together for strong tumbling passes. Cheerleading typically uses tumbling moves. Tumbling Class will improve the student's form and work on flexibility and building power in your tricks and passes.

advanced tumblingBack Hand Springs/Multiple Back Hand Springs, Aerials, Punch Fronts, Combination Passes, Standing Back Tucks, to Layouts and Linking skills together for strong powerful tumbling passes. With use of progressions, drills and coach assistance students will be able to practice these skills in a safe environment until they are comfortable enough to do them independently.

GREAT FIT FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN BEING A PART OF THE FUTURE; ASHLEYS ACADEMY COMPETITION TEAM. THIS STYLE COMBINES DANCE AND ACRO AND The techniques taught help students to perform the skills safely on a hard floor (dance or stage floor) and to allow seamless flow from an acrobatic move into dance moves during choreography. It also helps to develop strong and well rounded dancers. Ashley's Academy is one of only a few studios in the area to be a certified Acrobatic Arts dance studio.

Acro is the perfect class for beginners ages 3+
Ashley's Academy is certified through Acrobatic Arts. Coaches specialize in instructing acrobatics technique in a fun and comfortable atmosphere developing a love of acrobatics in our students. This class will include beginning tumbling, conditioning, flexibility, proper form and strengthening. Beginner Acro students work on:
- Forward and back rolls, handstand, cartwheel and bridges.
ACRO BEGINNER 2
For students who have taken Acro previously and mastered all Beginner Acro skills. Specific skills that will be covered in Acro 2 include Handstand Balance, Mastering correct Cartwheel Technique, 1 arm Cartwheel, Handstand Bridge, Handstand roll, Backbend with spot, Walking Bridges, Back walk over with spot, Front Limber, Running Roundoff, Holding balances longer. Increased flexibility and strength
ACRO INTERMEDIATE
This class emphasizes Intermediate Level Technique. Skills from Beginner 1 & 2 must be mastered. In Intermediate we will be working on Bridge kick over, Back walkover, Front walk over with minimal or no spot in the backbend. Back Limber, Front Arabian, Back Arabian and spotted Back Hand Springs depending on students level.

Private Lessons are available for Cheerleaders, Dancers, Gymnasts of all ages and all skill levels. You can also have a semi private lesson with 2-3 people. Please call for pricing and availability. Private Lessons are held at Studio on weekdays. Private lessons at your home are also available on the weekend.
